Our Story
It started with a broken espresso machine and a stubborn refusal to drink bad coffee. In 2019, we converted a garage in the outskirts of town into a roastery — just two people, a sample roaster, and way too many origin experiments.
We believe coffee should taste like where it came from. Not like smoke, not like sugar — but like the volcanic soil of Huehuetenango, or the high-altitude forests of Yirgacheffe. We roast light to let those flavors speak.
Bitter & Bloom is the place we always wanted to exist: a quiet corner where the coffee is serious but the vibe never is.
